There is an allergy to Nickel, which is where a person can be allergic to metal. Now, metal is used for many things, like rings, bracelets, pens, shoe buckles, belts and the frames of eyeglasses.
Buying glasses that contain a metal that is known as nickel can irritate and stir up allergies in someone who is allergic to it. When the glasses are worn and the metal touches the skin of the person wearing them, the skin will become inflamed with skin that is itching him or her and red. There may also be some bumps.
To treat the rash and/or bumps, use a corticosteroid that was prescribed to you by your doctor or get one from the drug store, something like Benadryl, which is good for allergies and cream to help soothe the areas affected. Don’t expect it to go right away because it will take some time
